NWCAC November Educational Meeting, Saturday, November 2, 2019
Our November Educational event will be on Nov 2nd from 7:30AM - 12 Noon at Northwest Community Hospital in rooms 1&2 located in the basement of the Busse Center. You can use Entrance 1. Parking is available in Parking Garage B (Level B1 Entrance). The first topic for the day is, "Human Trafficking: An Overview for Nursing Professionals" by Claire Dixon, L.C.S.W., A.M. The second topic is "Medical Nutrition Therapy of the Burn and Septic Patient" by Valerie Reynolds, MS, RN/LDN, CNSC, CSO. The third and final topic is, "Introduction to Burn Care - Priorities and Pitfalls" by burn nurses from U of C Critical Care.
For our community project this month, we will be collecting socks for all ages. Please bring new socks with tags still on. We will be giving them to the "Socktober" Event at the Schaumberg Public Library which will be donated to the homeless.
